Hamradio nowadays moves more and more in the internet. Pota Sota QRZ.com Computer talk to each othe via FT8 only to speak about some few things. A clock is needed which comes from gps or the net….. There are new possibilities which arise on the horizon.
In my opinion the basis of the idea of HAM is people communicate in a way which is independant from powersuply or any other infrastructure like handy network whatsapp or the internet…..The net is only suppprting, but not the main thing. It can be gone somehow. One key event for me was that, because of the war in the ukraine, the russians where deleted in QRZ.com. After a tumult in the HAM community the were added again. So be aware one person or institution or state has the power to exclude hams if they decide. I thought hamspirit means that politics, religion and sex are excluded. Well being a programmer I thought about this and came out with the idea of unstoppableCQ. UnstoppableCQ is the idea of a dezentralized database for hams. That means everbody has the data on his device if there is no net the data has the last synchronisation state if there is net the data are synchronized . Because of the fact that everybody has all data no censorship is possible. So nobody can be excluded or discriminated.
